As you know..we are always taking custom orders for our customers! If you don't see something you like in our store or are interested in having something made, we will do our best to make it happen!

Right now our BEST SELLER is our custom built farmwood table. We also have benches that we can make to go with these! For the color of the table, our most popular is the look in this picture. It is the dark wood on top with distressed cream on the bottom (we will distress more/less depending on your taste). We also do dark wood all over with no cream if that is your preference.

Alright everyone...we have some awesome ideas up our sleeves!! We have had the opportunity to do decorating for various events....Railroad Christmas in downtown Opelika, AL.....Table centerpieces for the Chamber of Commerce for the city of Opelika...various wedding themed decor...Boutique/Store decor for various stores around the South...and MORE!!

We LOVE doing this and would love the opportunity to be able to decorate for YOU!

We can do things such as Event decor, Wedding decor, coming into your business or home to help generate some ideas for decor...or anything else!

Christmas in a Railroad Town

One of our employees, Kyndal, got married in November of 2010

and we decorated her wedding with a Vintage style...

We used a bottle tree as a money tree with a
bird cage stand next to it and a chandelier hanging above.

Custom printed vintage style invitation and dispay,
we used our old lace table cloths to cover all the tables.

Vintage display inside the barn of old Matrimony certificates
and vintage cake toppers.

We used miniature bottle trees on all the tables with
little bird notes to write messages to the bride and
groom to hang on the trees...great keepsake!

reception area to enclose the space and bring home the theme
of the wedding

Alabama's Largest Quilt Sale, Featuring the quilts of Natalie Chanin of Alabama Chanin, and folk-artist Butch Anthony!

Resurrect Antiques will be sponsoring a huge quilt sale, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Seale Volunteer Fire Dept. The sale will take place in a house built in the 1800's. There are going to be hundreds of handmade, homemade, and vintage Alabama quilts to choose from. There will also be several quilt collectors with their items for sale.
The quilt sale will be held just down the street from the HUGE Labor Dar Art & Craft Festival at the Old Seale Courthouse.

We have added some great new furniture pieces in the shop! Black is definatley the "in" color right now. The last black cabinet I put in the shop only stayed 2 days. I love this great black buffet but I am sure it won't stay around long.

We have also added a ton of smalls. Great new birds, bird nests, moss and burlap ribbon, lots and lots of great spring related items to choose from! Stop by soon and check out whats new!!

We have some new feathered friends at the shop!!! We love this great birdcage that we got in and figured it needed a few occupants. When we sale the cage the birds will go too. I sure am gonna miss them but there is no way this awesome cage is gonna stay around too long! Stop by and see them before they are gone. They are the sweetest little things!!! =)

Just wanted to let you see a great idea that one of our customers came up with. We make the vintage wall hanging letters from all kinds of things but this is the first wedding invitation that we have done. They are gonna use is as part of the display at a shower and then it will be given to the bride and groom as a gift!

She is out looking for more great things for Resurrect and this is what she came across!!!

No wonder she finds such great stuff, who else goes out and plays with barnyard animals??!!

I can't wait to see what she is bringing back to the shop! She won't share any details yet but I am sure it is going to be awesome!

Also we have gotten a new line of Jewerly in and I will be posting some pictures of that soon! Melissa is busy putting out the jewerly and dragging new items out of the back room! It is really looking great in here!

New at the shop....... Poo~Pourri Spray Deodorizer!

I know it sounds funny, I was hesitant at first but we have all tried it and this stuff really does work! I even snuck in the bathroom and sprayed it before the man made his way in there and it worked wonderfully!!! Imagine never having to smell "POOP" again. Just a couple of sprays onto the water in the toilet and your done!

We have 3 different sizes in the shop and it starts as low as $5.00.

It is definitely a product I recommend for everyone!!

Hey Ya'll! Welcome to the new blog adventure of Resurrect Antiques! Since Michelle is quite busy with 3 full-time jobs (owner of said establishment, wife & mother) she has asked me manage her blog. Oh. my. Does she know what she's in for? Does she know that I LIVE FOR road trips? A ha! you guessed..I do not live Alabama. I live in Georgia. Close enough for a day trip but far enough away that the hunt for good stuff is brand new. You can call me Pearl. So, I, Pearl, am now your hostess for the tantalizing treasures which are found at Resurrect.

Speaking of that...in the above photo: How great is that old iron baby crib? And what prissy-girlie girl wouldn't love that chandelier in her boudoir? The white metal punched-out piece has definitely got my attention. I HAVE to get there NOW!

Could you just IMAGINE this washed-out bluish green hutch in your kitchen? How cool is that? I don't think that little munchkin is part of the deal, but he IS the unofficial mascot of Resurrect! Just think of him as 'Short Stack'.

And are you DYING over that white wicker chair just left of SS? I AM! I LOVE WICKER. Apparently so does Michelle. yay.

What in the world is that wonderful green bin? I see it now...in a mudroom, laundry room, garden shed or just about anywhere. The possibilities are ENDLESS. The color is so NOW!

It looks like she's got some quilts hanging around waiting for a good home. I think you'll be seeing more of those in the coming weeks and months...
